Blue eXpert Certification (BEC) training camp will be held on Monday, February 19th through Wednesday, February 21st, 2018, immediately prior to the Bluenotes APAC conference at the same venue. The Blue eXpert Certification training is designed to further develop your knowledge and expertise of advanced Blue features so that you can implement any feedback process at varying degrees of complexity. CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS

Please submit your presentation proposals, consistent with the theme of Informing the Future: Using Today’s Feedback to Improve Tomorrow with use of Blue, prior to December 15, 2017, by emailing Yeona Jang, eXplorance at yjang@explorance.com. Presentation proposals will be reviewed by the Bluenotes presentation review committee and acceptance notifications will be made by December 27, 2017.

DOOR PRIZES

Over $10,000 AUD in door prizes will be awarded at the conference. All attending institutions will be automatically entered to win one of these valuable prizes.

  • Attendance to the Bluenotes Global 2018 conference, including airfare, lodging, and conference registration

SOCIAL NETWORKING EVENTS

Wednesday, February 21st:  Evening Social Activity

Meet and greet your fellow Blue community members for a Welcome Reception at the Greenmount Beach Club at 7PM for cocktails and canapés.

Thursday, February 22nd:  Social Dinner & Networking Event

Join your colleagues for a social dinner (with fantastic views) at the Coolangatta Surf Club at 7PM to wrap up conference day 1!

CONFERENCE SESSION HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE

Many interesting sessions hosted by Blue-powered institutions and eXplorance staff have been planned, including:

  • Panel discussions on the changing roles of student evaluations and feedback in Higher-Education institutions
  • Panel discussions on ways to create and capture values from evaluation data in institutions
  • Presentations on formative feedback practices and how they are being applied in institutions
  • Workshops on improving the feedback process and interpreting evaluation data with Blue
  • …and many other informative sessions!

About SCU

Southern Cross University’s Gold Coast campus is located at Coolangatta just 400 metres from North Kirra Beach, and adjacent to the Gold Coast Airport. Views of the Pacific Ocean can be seen from many vantage points in the campus’ buildings.
