Part Time Student Evaluation of Teaching Coordinator

The coordinator works closely with the office’s Assistant Provost, Research Analyst, the Office of Information Technology, the Registrar’s office and others to ensure that American University’s teaching evaluation process is accurate, fair and user friendly. The coordinator will help expand and improve the university’s teaching evaluation reporting so that the results are accessible to faculty and so that they provide meaningful feedback for use in evaluations and course improvement. The Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Coordinator reports to the director of IE and is primarily responsible for leading the IE team’s online survey components (to include survey sample creation, collaboration/consultation and training on survey/question design, administration, analysis [both quantitative and qualitative], generation of reports, and interpretation/use of findings [to include action planning]), oversees the university-wide survey calendar and protocol as well as the administration of national surveys for the university.

The Student Learning Experience Feedback System Administrator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting student learning experience software systems which are used to support schools, departments, and colleges in the collection of student feedback related to teaching and learning.
