Assistant University Registrar, Academic Services

The Assistant University Registrar has four primary areas of responsibility:

  1. Leadership in providing guidance and direction on processes affecting operational functions in assigned areas of responsibility.
  2. Day-to-day operational management of customer support services of the Office of the University Registrar (OUR).
  3. Oversight of classroom scheduling and supervision of the Classroom Scheduling Coordinator.

The Assistant University Registrar is responsible for managing the Teaching Effectiveness Survey process and enforcing university policies pertaining to the survey process. The AUR maintains Blue, which is the system used to administer the Teaching Effectiveness Survey.

Survey Analyst

The Planning and Governance Division provides a leadership role within the University in the following functional areas: Performance, Planning and Assurance. The primary purpose of this position is to administer and report on a range of surveys conducted by students and staff of the University, for quality assurance and improvement purposes:

Research Analyst

Reporting to the Director, Institutional Research, the incumbent provides research and analysis on a wide range of college activities to support college-wide decisions regarding academic program offerings, student retention and success, as well as overall institutional effectiveness. This is a multi-faceted position responsible for collecting, retrieving and analyzing data from a variety of sources, assessing additional information needs and working in collaboration with academic and service departments to identify solutions and produce accurate, reliable and user-friendly reports for both internal and external audiences. Online Evaluations Coordinator

Primary duties for this role include routine service operation tasks such as evaluation cycle setup and end-of-term report creation for faculty and staff. The service is built around the Explorance Blue platform. The Student Support Advisor exercises sound judgement while coordinating and modifying services to ensure the needs of a diverse clientele are met. The incumbent provides services to both internal and external parties of the College. Coordinator – Office of Institutional Effectiveness

The Institutional Effectiveness (IE) Coordinator reports to the director of IE and is primarily responsible for leading the IE team’s online survey components (to include survey sample creation, collaboration/consultation and training on survey/question design, administration, analysis [both quantitative and qualitative], generation of reports, and interpretation/use of findings [to include action planning]), oversees the university-wide survey calendar and protocol as well as the administration of national surveys for the university.

Preferred is a candidate with a Master’s degree in higher education administration, college student personnel, research design and methods, research analysis, and/or statistical methods or related field; experience with statistical software packages (e.g. SPSS, SAS, R); experience with qualitative methods; experience with survey platforms (e.g. Explorance Blue, Qualtrics, Survey Monkey).

Student Learning Experience Feedback System Administrator, University of Saskatchewan

In collaboration with school, department, and college administrative staff, the system administrator will work with a high level of independence and adaptability in this highly technical role. The system administrator will require thorough attention to detail and strong analytical abilities to deal with diverse and complex tasks related to configuration of projects within the software and with troubleshooting and prioritizing user issues.

USPSC Human Resources (HR) Coordinator

Part Time Student Evaluation of Teaching Coordinator

The coordinator works closely with the office’s Assistant Provost, Research Analyst, the Office of Information Technology, the Registrar’s office and others to ensure that American University’s teaching evaluation process is accurate, fair and user friendly. The coordinator will help expand and improve the university’s teaching evaluation reporting so that the results are accessible to faculty and so that they provide meaningful feedback for use in evaluations and course improvement.

Learning Systems Administrator

The Learning Systems Platform Administrator (SES (Subject Experience Survey)) has strong technical ability and experience with the Explorance Blue application and provides day to day operational support for the core SES platform at the University of Melbourne. The incumbent is expected to work with staff and students across the University and externally, to support the central SES application Explorance Blue and undertake SES support activities such as the virtual and physical SES campaign, administrative system support, troubleshooting and answering SES queries from staff and SES Faculty and School representatives.

Student Learning Experience Feedback System Administrator

The Student Learning Experience Feedback System Administrator is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting student learning experience software systems which are used to support schools, departments, and colleges in the collection of student feedback related to teaching and learning.

  • The primary goal of this position is to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of surveys and reports to and with users of the system who include students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Secondarily, the position will support the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning (GMCTL) internal IT and digital communication requests.
  • Candidates should have a basic understanding of HTML with the ability to interpret/construct basic web pages and the ability to manipulate large amounts of data through sorting/filtering and constructing/utilizing functions and formulas in Excel. Past experience with survey tools (e.g. Blue, SurveyMonkey) and project mgmt and communication tools (e.g. Trello, Slack, Jira) would be an asset. Evaluation Manager

The Evaluation Manager will be the primary administrator of online evaluations using Blue. This position will work closely with faculty and staff in the Schools and Colleges, KU IT, and the Center for Faculty Development and Mentoring in the Provost’s Office to ensure optimal use of the Blue software.

  • Primary duties will consist of the collection, management, and reporting of evaluative results to a diverse stakeholder group. Developing expertise in the potential of expanding Blue’s functionality and translating that into strategies to enhance the evaluation process for faculty and students is essential for this position.

Manager, Academic Records and Faculty Services

  • As the key resource in the Registrar’s Office, this position is in charge of providing academic records services to students, faculty, and staff, including the management of customer support services, academic record maintenance, and the administration of the university’s online Student Teaching Effectiveness Survey system, including the following Teaching Effectiveness Survey Administration
